Darla earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston, and while
there published an article, The La Grange Chicken Ranch Revisited. This article
would win her the 2nd place upper division in the C.M. Caldwell Memorial Award.
Presenting the award to her was the infamous news reporter, Marvin Zindler, and
actor Dom Delouise, who portrayed Zindler in the movie, The Best Little Whorehouse
in Texas.
Darla's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, her work experience in Property
Management, work in the Oil & Gas Industry, and work with Custom Home Builds,
provides her with valuable skills that she uses daily in real estate negotiations. While
also educating home buyers and home sellers on the real estate process.
Native to Texas, Darla grew up in Houston and La Grange. She always says she had
the best of both worlds, the city life and the country life.
Darla currently resides in La Grange with her beloved Ollie, a dapple dachshund, and her wild child Piper, a beautiful schnauzer. She will continue to work in her rural community that boasts the farm and ranch sector of real estate, as well as in Austin and in Houston. Working as a Realtor for the influential industry leader, Bubela Real Estate, she is committed to being a premier leader in providing her clients value, practicing integrity, and earning her client's trust in each transaction.
